Figuring Out What to Outsource

How do you figure what to outsource? 🤔
This is going to take some time, but I promise it’s worth it: make a list.
A big long list of every single thing that you do throughout the week.
Do you know what you’ll notice? How much extra you're doing that you don't even realize you're doing. 🤯
So make a whole list, keep adding to it through the week including all the things you do once a month, like emailing your newsletter.
Next, categorize those into
🌟 A Tasks: Tasks you want to handle yourself that you either enjoy or can’t pass off
🌟 B Tasks: Tasks you feel ready to hire someone to handle right now
🌟 C Tasks: Tasks you could hire someone to handle for you later
To make sure you hire the right person for the “B” tasks right now, be prepared to interview multiple people to make sure their skills line up with your needs.
If you aren’t hiring an agency, understand that you’ll likely need to hire more than one person to handle all the tasks on your list.
Try not to fall into the trap of searching for a unicorn who can write your newsletters, handle your technology, create your marketing strategy, and so on. 🦄
Remember, that if you do find one single person who can do all those things, they likely won’t be the best person for every job on the list.
My clients and I find that it's far more effective to hire someone to do the pieces that they do really really well. 🤩
